Can't help but to expect the GREAT!

The second half is starting off with the a bang and I am so loving the Lord right now even more than I have in the past! Not because of what He has done for me but just for Him being GOD! Do you lack peace, seek out the Prince of PEACE (Jesus), do you lack guidance ask the one who knows everything. Serving a RISEN savior makes all the difference and you can't help but expect the GREAT!

The Second Half .......(half-time is over)

Just recently I celebrated turning the big 45 and was just numb. I have been going through a lot of change in my life and really didn't know where to begin. While driving somewhere it dawned on my that this is the second half of my life and I had some decisions to make. The first half was for the most part ok ( I survived!) but there was something missing. I believe what was missing was the ability to see God clearly and to move forward without fear. While make some changes I purposed to not fear and to trust God even the more. So here I go, with half time being over, its time to start the second half and come home with the VICTORY! Things are beginning to look a little brighter too.(Smile)

Just a reminder... It's really not that bad

I was reminded today that life should NEVER be taken for granted. I was volunteering at the hospital and speaking to the patients that are recovering from surgery and just wanted to thank God for my health. I thank God that I am visiting and not the one being visited. I also read a story of a young lady who died at 19 years old due to a problem with her brain. Life is so fragile and sometimes we have to remind ourselves to handle it with care. Forgive quickly, love unconditionally, and know that Jesus loves you more than you can imagine.

Coming into my purpose..........

The song by Kirk Franklin, I never knew I could be so happy...la la la la, popped in my head and rings true for me today. Lord knows the joy I had waking up this morning just knowing that I am coming into my purpose and the best part is I'm not alone. As I go through this life and all the wonderful people God has allowed me to meet, I understand that it was part of the plan to help me come into my purpose. My prayer today is that you would see all the events of your life as the path to your ultimate purpose. Love yal more than chicken and pray for you often

Wow! This is the second time I wrote this......Some error in the system and lost what I wrote previously. Ya think I wasn't suppose to say it. LOL Well I have come to realize there is absolutely nothing we can do to receive from God except just receive. His grace is all we need to get through anything that we face and we have to put our trust in God and thank Him every step of the way. His grace is sufficient and that's all she wrote!

Opinions, Opinions, OPINIONS

While going forward and moving in the direction that I BELIEVE I should be going, people tend to always have an opinion. They have a belief, an idea, a suggestion, and so on on how YOU should be living YOUR life. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and that's about as far as it should go. Another persons opinion doest not, I repeat, does not have to be your reality.  So live today in the joy of know you are who God created YOU to be and no one's opinion can change that!

When God says..... I APPRECIATE YOU

Ever wonder how God would say "I appreciate YOU"? Well the way my mind was going this morning I thought about the fact that God wakes me up EVERY morning and gives me the breath I need to live this life HE has given me to the best of my ability is Gods way of saying I appreciate YOU, I love YOU, and YOU have value to me. (Yea, I got a tad bit deep with it) The fact that the very breath I breathe is God giving ME an opportunity to APPRECIATE Him and give Him glory in all I do is overwhelming in itself. So the next time you take a breathe just say......I appreciate you too Lord.

Wow! People make life interesting..... Take a page from the life of JESUS!

Wow oh wow! Sometimes people can really make you happy or really make you wanna slap the taste out their mouth. Going through a little situation I had to take a step back and take a "page" from the life of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. One week the people were crying praises to Him and the very next week those SAME people were yelling crucify HIM! There are times in my life where I truly have to wear "people" like a loose garment because one minute you are the best thing since sliced bread, then the next minute you are the topic of gossip, jealousy, and so one. I truly thank God that Jesus is my perfect example and He did not allow what people said, whether good or bad deter Him from His purpose in life which was to die on the cross, be buried in the tomb, and rise again on the third day for ME .(and you too) THANK YOU JESUS AND HALLELUJAH AND AMEN!  Talk about staying focused.............

Sick and tired of the fight......BUT!!!

I said it and I meant it, I am sick and tired of the fight. Tired of seemingly always fights, struggling, pressing, and so on. I was at a point were I really wanted to say "BUMP IT I'M GOING BACK TO THE NORMAL LIFE"! Then I took a minute and asked myself, was I ever really content or happy back when life seemed somewhat normal? A resounding very loud NO came out of my spirit and I cried out to the only one who knows me better than I know myself, JESUS MY LORD AND SAVIOR.  I know He heard me because a strange peace came over me and I wanted to continue to strive..... this is where the BUT comes in folks. I am sick and tired of the fight BUT God has all things in control , BUT my God shall supply all my needs according to HIS riches in CHRIST JESUS, but I can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens me, BUT God who is rich in mercy shall keep me in PERFECT peace because my mind is stayed on HIM. So with that said I continue to strive, move forward and bless God every step of the way!

The devil is BUSY!

WOW! Two months ago I said I was BACK and I should have know that the attack was coming. I have spent the last two months praying, crying, and seeking the will of God for my life. Guess what? I'm in the will of God for my life right now. I haven't been online because I almost lost my fight to share and encourage and lift up others because I was once again focusing on myself. God let me know that what I do in life is valuable and He uses it to get glory and save others. The confirmation was when I received a voicemail from a long time friend that said and I quote..."your text message saved my life", (talk about being humbled) So with that said here I am to worship, here I am to bow down and say that YOU ARE GOD! Jesus I love you and as always.... Shall we pray? Lets
