Up for air

Almost two months and now I'm back and back for good. The past two months have had some highs and to many lows to count. I have grown up more than I chose to admit, but it was all worth it.(I think) When I say just pray, I really mean it. I have gone through letting go of an idea that I really and truly wanted to keep for the rest of my life. It is time to get things in order and continue to move forward in life. I truly believe that in the last two months I have learned more about myself and the will of God for my life than any other time in my life. So with that I will just say, let's continue the ride and see what the Lord has in store for the all of us. To myself I say WELCOME BACK!

Time to spread the love

I have been really convicted and had to repent! I have NOT been walking in love as I was told to by God. I have NOT been paitent, I have NOT been kind, I have not been longsuffering........ Get the picture? Well, everything we do MUST be motivated by the love of God. Once I repented and made a decision to walk in the LOVE OF GOD! Things in my life have changed for the better. The love walk works and LOVE NEVER FAILS!!!

You ever just feel an ugh on the inside?

Today has been a strange on for me because I have been feeling an uuuuugggghhh on the inside. I was online and saw alot of chritian workshops, events, ect and I just started feeling uugghh. Whatever happened to the days of all night prayer, fasting and concercration, ect. I know there is a time and place for everything I just feel that it is time for some serious seeking the Lord in this hour. I can and will only be true to what I believe and I believe that Jesus Christ is coming soon and my question to my brothers in sisters is this....What will HE find you doing?

All we need is love.....BUT SOMETIMES LOVE HURTS!

There is a song that goes....All you need is love, love, love..blah blah blah. (lol) I know that we must have the love of God to live in this life and to walk as Christ did but sometimes it can be hard as heck to do. I have gone through a situation that truly tested my love walk because I was hurt to the core and stuck wondering why in the world did this happen, when all I was trying to do was help. Well I took a minute to think about what Christ went through because of His love for us. He left HEAVEN to come down to EARTH to live as a normal HUMAN then died a horrible death as a criminal WHEN HE DIDN'T EVEN COMMIT A CRIME! He did all that for me and YOU  because HE LOVED US! LOVE motivated Him to leave heaven, LOVE kept Him from giving up and letting us be doomed forever, and LOVE kept Him on the cross to die for our freedom. So even when love hurts really all we need is LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. Think about it.......

UP FOR AIR!

IT HAS BEEN A RIDE!!!  Yup and I am up for air! God has truly shown me how wonderful HE IS since the last time I chatted with you. I have grown in leaps and bounds and truly believe that there comes a time where we need to step back, take a breathe, and regroup. So what can I leave you with today....... If you feel overwhelmed with life in general, take a break! It may be for 30 min, a day, a week, or a month. Take some time to look at YOURSELF, take inventory, get rid of the toxins in your life, and get back on track! Thank you for those of you that have prayed with me, made me smile, and most of all understood that I needed the time off! Let's do this thing called life as if it were going to end tomorrow! (You never know, it just might)

Matters of the heart

While driving this morning I was thinking about how God answers the matters of my heart. I always enjoy praying and spending time with my heavenly Daddy but there are things that I just don't express verbally and kinda sweep under the rug of my heart. Well I am seeing more and more how God will answer those matters of the heart that we may not always verbalize. He is an awesome God and loves us so much that words cannot even express the depths of it. So today I just want to thank God for answering the matters of my heart. I love you Daddy!

THAT WALL IS COMING DOWN!!!

I took a few days to just get some business accomplished (a week to be exact) and found myself facing a wall that seemed to not budge. As I sat in front of my computer asking God what to share with you, I was reminded of the battle of Jericho. Joshua (He was the man!!~lol) had just been promoted and faced a seemingly unattainable task of taking over Jericho. Well God had given him some strange battle plans that without faith in the God he served, Joshua would look like a fool. Well, you know the story and what happened to that big old, stubborn, wall. Since seven days have passed in my life and its time for THAT WALL TO COME DOWN!!!  LET'S SHOUT!!!

Let God do the rebuilding

My prayer is for those of you who have been beat down, torn apart, and feeling like the world has crushed you. RISE UP AND LET GO DO THE REBUILDING! Cry out to Him and He will help you. I'm not telling you what I heard, I'm telling you what I know. He will rebuild from the inside out and when He does is cannot be torn down....EVER! So today wipe the tears, stand up, and let God put you back on track!

Free to be single while waiting to get married.....

After celebrating the independence of our country yesterday, I starting thinking about my own personal independence as a single christian in 2011. I thought about the years I spent loving someone who didn't love me back, the years trying to figure out who I was and my worth, and the years I spent asking God how long. Well good golly Ms Molly I can say today I am totally free. Free to love again and be loved! Free to accept who I am and all the God has for me! Free to know my worth and the worth of those in my life!I can say it feels good to be free. I am free to enjoy my singleness while waiting to get married. I know that God is preparing me and "that" man for each other , so the meantime I CHOSE TO LIVE FREE!! Spirit soul and body!!!! Shall we pray? LET'S

Know who you are

Recently I have been getting to know me. I mean really getting to know who I am in Christ (out of Christ is a whole other story~lol) and how God sees me. Self esteem was an issue growing because I was trying to live up to the expectations of others rather than the expectations of the One who created me. We today I am not totally there but I am so farther along from where I was. I challenge you today to find out who you are and more importantly WHOSE you are. Pray is a two way conversation

Most of the time when we go to God in prayer, we do all the talking. (lol~guilty) Prayer is a two way conversation between God and His creation. God had a desire for relationship ever since the beginning of time. He created man to share His love and to commune with him. There are times when I go to God and just spill my guts, then start spilling some more and then I catch myself and shut up. The next time you go to God to pray, just listen to what He is saying to you and not do all the talking. Shall we pray? Let's

Happy Father's Day........Maybe not

I just got home from worship service at my church holding back tears that won't seem to go away. While sitting listening to my spiritual father share the love of God, I couldn't help but think about the two men in my life that are no longer here. My natural father who was not around during the majority of my young years but I was able to reconnect later on in my life. He was no where near perfect, but who is. I learned to live in forgiveness and just love him for being him. He became really sick and wanted his children to be near him and I was the one who was there during his last days on this side of heaven. The pain of seeing him sick came back, the pain of finding him lifeless and no longer with me came back, and the reality that he was no longer here came back. But God! But God! I also had the honor of having a step-father who did just that, stepped in and became a father to me. Whenever I needed an ear, some advice, or just unconditional love, he was there. He also died and I was there long enough  to see him before he took his last breath. Today, I couldn't help but cry because I had it so good and had two wonderful men love me unconditionally, cheer me on when I needed it, and tell me YOU CAN DO IT when nobody else would. So today on father's day, it may not be all that happy for me, but this one thing I know, I sure do miss my dads.

Our Father which art in Heaven........

WOW! While reading in Matthew chapter 6 something jumped out at me like, WOW! Matthew 6:5-13 is the model prayer that Jesus taught His disciples when they asked Him how they should pray. In verse 6 Jesus said "But when you pray go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your FATHER WHO IS IN THE SECRET PLACE, and you Father will reward you openly." Our Father that is in heaven is ALSO in OUR SECRET PLACE! Our heavenly Father loves us so much that He is not only on His throne but takes the time to meet us in OUR VERY OWN SECRET PLACE. Now that's love. On this fathers day weekend I reflect on my relationship with my heavenly father and the love He has for me. Reminded that when I go to my secret place HE is already there waiting for me. Shall we pray? Let's

Time to manifest

As I read the paper and see so many different natural disasters happen, I can't help but wonder what in the world is going on. It is time for the body of Christ to manifest. The earth is groaning for the sons (and daughters) of God to show up. It's time to live what we believe, spread the love of God, and seek His face for guidance. The earth is talking, are we listening?

Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

When you pray for others

Can we talk? There comes a time when we are all faced with problem upon problem upon problem and our backs are against the wall. What in the world do we do? We stop looking at our problems and go to prayer on the behalf of someone else. Yup, I said it! When you begin to trust that God will take care of you and your needs and begin to pray for other, watch how fast God will get your stuff straight! Shall we pray?

 James 5:16:   ¹⁶Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
